These terms apply to quotes, supply and installation work carried out by Prime Pool Fencing & Balustrades (QBCC licence no. 15435283) of 14 Burnet Cct, Baringa QLD 4551.
Quotes
Quotes are provided free of charge following an on-site measure. A quote is an offer to carry out the work described in it, at the price stated, and is valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices are based on the site conditions observed at the time of measure.
Where site conditions differ from those observed at the measure — for example unexpected ground conditions, services below the fence line, or changes to levels or landscaping — we will contact you before proceeding and agree any variation in writing.
Acceptance and deposits
Work is scheduled once you accept the quote in writing. Deposit and payment terms are set out in your quote.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide clear and safe access to the work area, to identify the location of any private services (irrigation, power, plumbing) running through or near the fence line, and to confirm boundary positions where the fence runs on or near a boundary.
Compliance
Pool barriers are installed to Australian Standard AS 1926.1 as called up by the Queensland Development Code. Structural glass is installed to AS 1288. We install to the standard so your barrier is ready to pass a pool safety inspection.
We are not licensed pool safety inspectors and do not issue pool safety certificates. Certification is carried out by a licensed inspector, and we can refer you to one.
Maintaining ongoing compliance is the pool owner’s responsibility. Changes made after installation — added landscaping, raised garden beds, new paving, or objects placed within the non-climbable zone — can put a compliant barrier out of compliance.
Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for 10 years from the date of completion. Glass, hardware and powder-coated components carry the manufacturer’s warranty that applies to those products.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by impact, misuse, alteration by others, ground movement, or failure to maintain the installation as advised.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Maintenance
Coastal conditions require routine maintenance. We recommend rinsing glass, spigots, hinges and latches with fresh water regularly to remove salt deposits, and checking that gates self-close and self-latch from every position.
